| PROVIDERS RESPONSIBILITIES I will greet each parent and child with a smile. I will provide a safe, loving homelike environment, where children can learn through play, learning to get along with others, and encouraging goon manners. I will show respect for each child, and praise each child for their accomplishments. I will listen to each child and guide them with making decisions. I will discipline with emphasis on prevention of problems, redirect attention and avoid over-use of (THE BETTER CHOICE CHAIR): absolutely NO SPANKING OR SHAMING. I will provide age-appropriate toys and activities. I will read to the children every day. I will serve nutritious meals and snacks. |
| PARENTS RESPONSIBILITIES I will talk to my provider immediately when I have concerns about my child so a plan may be designed to rectify the challenge. I will support my provider in her endeavors to appropriately discipline my child in my absence. I will bring my child appropriately dressed with at least two changes of clothes and always with shoes. I will pick up my child on time. I will call my provider as soon as I realize that I will be late for pick up, and call my backup person to pick up my child if I am unable to pick up in a timely manner. I will pick up my child within an hour if my child becomes ill at daycare or make alternate arrangements. I will call my provider if my child will Not be attending daycare. I will pay my provider at pick up time on Friday for the upcoming week of daycare in order to avoid a late fee. I will respect my providers contract and policies. |
